Benny Benassi, Milan born Italian DJ/producer Benny Benassi – real name Marco Benassi – is widely regarded as one of the most charming, down to earth, internationally respected and treasured artists in the music industry.
Over a decade into his illustrious career, the chart-topping megastar has wholly managed to capture the hearts of multiple generations of EDM fans across the world with his trademark tech/electro/house infused sounds and charismatic performance flair.
Obviously no account of Mr Benassi’s star-spangled career could pass without special mention of the international hit single that was “Satisfaction.” Masterfully conjured up with first cousin and production partner in crime Alessandro ‘Alle’ Benassi the record saw huge success especially in Europe, as it shot to #1 on the Official Dance Chart in France for over four weeks, #2 on the Official UK Top 40 singles chart and #2 on the Official Dance Chart in Germany.
Team Benassi went on to remix The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, The Doors and The Temper Trap all within the space of 12 months and 2013 followed in suit. April 2013 saw Benny premiere his single “Dance The Pain Away” featuring John Legend at Coachella live on stage and then later premiering the video itself on Rolling Stone Magazine.
There are talks that 2014 will deliver a new and undoubtedly massive Benny Benassi album, with murmurs suggesting that the first single from the album coming in Summer 2014. Benny has wholly justified his position as one of the most beloved entertainers the industry has to offer.
