BASSCATZ
Monk and Jamez Bongg aka Basscatz are a bulgarian producer duo, part of PLATFORM MUSIC – the leading Dubstep label in the area.
Both catz have a solid DJ background and serious intentions on releasing some of their own production in 2012/2013. Their debut track called ‚Mo Dub‘ is part of ‚PLATFORMULA 1‘ – the first Bulgarian Dubstep compilation, alongside names like Balkansky and the world beatbox champion Skiller. The tandem also have released a track and a video featuring one of Bulgaria’s most wanted female vocals – Ruth.
The track has been remixed by Balkansky aka Cooh.
At the end of 2012 Basscatz have released their newest video project called Thriller.
Featuring Mc’s Bashment and Grigovor this is considered to be one of Bulgaria’s top notch dubstep/grime tracks ever done.
In the last six months alone Basscatz have shared stage with names like: 16Bit, Phaeleh, Von D, Distance, Youngsta, Darkside, Caspa and many more. May 2012 marked their first appearance on GetDarker TV live from Sofia. Their flawless four deck sets deliver deep and heavy sound, dynamic selection with loads of unpublished material and enough energy to blast a crowd, no matter where they play.
